The ‘Arthur Christmas’ Movie Trailer Video has been released by way of Sony from directors Sarah Smith and Barry Cook. In a sneak peek look, the Christmas flick, which comes out next year, features stars like Hugh Laurie of House as the character Steve, Bill Nighy as the 136 year old father of Santa named Grand Santa, Hollywood star James McAvoy as Arthur and many more.

Arthur Christmas tells the tale of Santa Claus and his son Arthur who loves everything to do with Christmas; indeed, he is the only one in his family still captivated by the magic of the holiday. This Christmas movie highlights the technological advances of operations at the North Pole, revealing how Santa and his vast army of highly trained elves produce gifts and distribute them around the world in one night. However, every operation has a margin of error… When one of 600 million children to receive a gift from Santa on Christmas Eve is missed, it is deemed “acceptable” to all but one, Arthur. Arthur Claus is Santa’s misfit son who executes an unauthorized rookie mission to get the last present half way around the globe before dawn on Christmas morning.
Arthur Christmas will show just how Santa gets to all those houses around the world and just how the big guy makes it down the chimney! Also featured in the Arthur Christmas Movie Trailer Video is also feature the voices of actress Ashley Jensen, Imelda Staunton and Jim Broadbent.
